Android 4.4 was released few months before but still it is not being used or
say not available for the users. Well, the top Android Smartphone Manufacturing
Companies like Samsung, HTC, LG or Sony still not able to provide the latest
Android 4.4 Kitkat update to the users. Although Samsung and HTC officially
announced that Android Kitkat update will soon roll out on the major
devices.
Despite of Announcing the Kitkat update for the major devices, neither
Samsung nor HTC tried to provide update for non-major devices. Well, there are
lots of devices out there with required hardware but still Top Manufacturing
Companies didnt care to provide the software support.
Devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 1, Galaxy Grand and HTC One X, XL, X Plus will not get any further update despite that Galaxy Note 1 only Got Android 4.1.2 and Galaxy Grand updated to Android 4.2.2. Where as HTC One X, XL, X Plus was launched at Android 4.1.2 and got the Android 4.2.2 after that HTC officially confirmed that there will be no further update will be available to HTC One X devices.
Although, Android 4.4 is capable to run on the devices having 512 MB or above but still the Manufacturing companies discontinuing the devices. But, still there are free lance developers are out there who keeps making the new ROMs by using the new update source.

Why Android 4.4 update will not be available for your device?
Before the Release of Android 4.4 update all the previous updates were having fragmentation issues, which causes the delayed update or say no update. Although Fragmentation issue is fixed in Android 4.4 but still our beloved Manufacturing Companies like Samsung, HTC and others have no time to think about the old customers.Although, Android 4.4 is capable to run on the devices having 512 MB or above but still the Manufacturing companies discontinuing the devices.
